Richard Townsend-Rose is a degree qualified Chartered Engineer, with a wide variety of experience in using computers within the construction, engineering, and manufacturing industries acquired whilst holding a range of positions in industry.
Catherine Gallacher has experience in setting up and running accounting systems.
We specialise in making software work such that it that provides a solution to our clients needs and in a manner so that the necessary changes occur without any significant problems: "without trauma" is our objective!
It is our firm belief that there is only one reason for implementing computerised systems, and that is to improve performance, and that this must be evident financially within a reasonable time.
We are able to do this as we have the ability not only to specify requirements, and review performance, but where required write software and to do this in a variety of languages, and on a variety of platforms.
We are expert in utilising computers for document management, data collection for statistical analysis for continuing vendor assessment, fault and labour performance analysis, and other similar activities, thus creating systems supporting Total Quality Management as a tool for reducing costs for a realistic effort. Able to integrate these "quality systems" to other management systems such as accounting, job costing, manufacturing.
Our computer expertise stems not from being computer experts as such, but from the need to use them in the general work which has been undertaken from time to time, especially in the preparation of contractual claims.
